Our KTM Vertical Race is on Sep 20th, 2025. To book your free spot for this tribute race to Sanjay Pandit, an ultra running legend of Nepal, please use the QR below and pay the park entrance fee. Our race is free; however, since the Jamacho trail falls within a national conservation area, the Nepali government charges a fee to enter the area.
We closed park entry fee collection on 9/17/2025. Any fee received after 9/17 will be returned.
Our race timings and BIB distribution will be managed by an APP “RunUKU”. Please install and create your FREE account.
At the time of the RACE, you will need to use the APP, select the activity ” KTM Vertical – BIB PICK UP”, and scan the QR code provided by the race director to collect your BIB. You will also be awarded 500 fitness points, which you can collect and redeem for rewards. After the race is over, select the activity “KTM Vertical – BIB RETURN”, scan the QR code provided by the race director to return the BIB.
Cash Prize winners will be handed a Certificate with a QR code, which they will need to SCAN under the activity “KTM VERTICAL – CASH PRIZES”, in RunUKU APP. Once scanned, REP from the KTM vertical team will reach out to transfer the winning prize amount. As part of the Government tax rules, 15% tax will be deducted from the winning amount.
All other participants will receive the participation certificate in the email address provided during registration.
Recommended Gears:
– Shoes with Good Grip (preferably Trail Running Shoes)
– Hydration bag (there will be a water STATION at 3.5 km mark)
– Running poles
– light raincoat, in case it rains
Other recommendation/notice:
– Cell phone for emergencies
– Cash on hand to buy water at Jamacho gumba FINISH from the local vendor
– There won’t be a bag drop option available for this event
Due to trail maintenance, we have moved the START point for the race, hence the total distance is now 5.9KM with 700m elevation gain. Please see below.
